Experience Oslo the Norwegian way; on foot!
The best way to discover a city is to walk through it. This gives you the opportunity to take a look at the little streets and the backyards, not normally on the tourist routes. We start at the cruise terminal directly at Akershus Fortress. From there we explore the city hall square and the modern districts of Akerbrygge and Tjuvholmen. Where once there was a shipyard, today you can find one of the most popular local meeting places.
After we have “visited” the King, we explore the old Karl Johans gate in the heart of Oslo, pass the tiger statue and head for the new opera, which is unique in its architecture. Passing the Akershus Fortress, we return to the cruise terminal. On this three-hour tour, we will get to know Oslo’s pulsating heart, but we will not just show you a few old buildings we will regale you with colourful stories and anecdotes to give you an insight into the Norwegian lifestyle in Oslo.
